“I care not what others think of what I do, but I care very much about what I think of what I do! That is character!” -Theodore Roosevelt
Our character guides us through life, it helps us in our decisions and teaches us to walk on our own path. In order to let go of the need for acceptance in our decisions, we must tune into the HONESTY & COURAGE in our character.
1. HONESTY: We all have an inner truth & path to follow. No one else knows your deep truth, and no one’s truth is the same as yours. In order to really let your character guide your decisions you must learn to live your truth. Listening to your heart (& mind) so that you know that your decision is right for YOU!
2: COURAGE: It takes real courage to not care what others think about what you do. My mom always tells me, when I come to her for advice & we disagree, I have to be ok with her not agreeing with me. That’s hard, right? We ALL want to be accepted & have the approval of our loved ones. But you are never going to have everyone’s approval and that’s OK!
HONESTY & COURAGE unite in your character to guide you to live your own truth. Learning with time to let go of what others think and allowing your courage to carry you down your path!
Living your truth and having the courage to not care what others think, that is real character~
